I asked a couple staff member's perspective on this passion project and how it makes a difference to have our resources in the making.
From the network owner/founder's perspective on how it's going so far, here's what Brian's got to say:
"From my perspective, even though we are a day behind, we are effortlessly pushing through; we are making progress towards the bigger picture of this upcoming project as we are making new discoveries to the community everyday."
He proceeds to discuss what is to potentially come in the near future of what the server and this advertisement dream could bring to the table.
Hi! From the Management Of Web Development, my name is Haleigh. I will be sharing a couple of words from my perspective on this.
What I've noticed over the past few moments so on and so forth, getting to know Ken and Brian both has been a fun and enthralling experience in seeing their commitment to do better.
At first, I watched both of them progressively grow a community up from rock bottom. Although I wasn't a part of the beginning of that journey, they strived for a safer and fun environment for their gaming server in the beginning. It has been always apparent that servers aren't always the safest, and so they decided to trudge on their new journey with Iris Blacklisting & Advertisement for a more efficient way to keep things running more smooth.
While everything is still underway and in the making, they have stopped at nothing to impress and always amaze the staff and members here in our server system and in the gaming community from a server of their own that has made others feel at home.
Nevertheless, a word from Brian after sharing my take on this story, let's get more intel from the ones behind it all.
"Hello, my name is Brian, I am the network owner of Iris Blacklisting and Advertising; starting this project from my point of view of seeing different communities with how they are ran and operated, seeing the struggles of multiple community staff and owners alike dealing with toxic groups of people, its discouraging to say the very least to see how this has affected community members and morale of many alike."
He continues on by saying-
"I wanted to create a safe place where community members or staff could ask for help within reason and to help protect their own members of their communities; I also aspire to help those communities get their name out there as well, listening to and sharing their own stories and purpose as well and hoping to help them grow to the best of my abilities; I'd also like to to bring up a quote from our About Us that strongly represents my views on the matter."
The quote mentioned in said section says as shown:
"Our goal is to give you support as you navigate those responsibilities and to help you keep sight of why you started."
Brian's words continue as he shares a little bit more on why he, and Ken are both so passionate about needing change, keeping the gaming community safe, and sharing their inspirations. "At the end of the day, I hope Iris can help within communities, see growth, and watch others flourish as we continue our path in the possible near future of protecting what we've all been working towards, supporting where you're going, and having your best interest at heart."
"To the owners, staff, creators, partners, and members who choose to be a part of Iris; thank you for giving us the opportunity to earn your trust, your feedback, and participation will help shape the network we've built."

Its the Web Dev again; Hi! It's been a long day, but we're continuing the progression of the server and website everyday as we speak, figured to keep you guys updated on the hap on what's going on behind the scenes. Advertising is still underway, setting up the ticketing systems, answering faq's if anyone got anything, and just touching base with channels in our server. Brian and Ken are working hard on keeping things running in a timely manner; we may be falling a little behind, but that doesn't mean we aren't working at it.
I'd like to share one of my favorite quotes that reminds me of this exact situation; yeah yeah, quotes, quotes, quotes, and more quotes! The more consistent reminders though, the better I believe, we've all got something we're running towards.
However, this quote is a reminder to keep pushing forward and you have to fail in order to succeed.
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." — Winston Churchill
